What is Galmund?
Galmund is a travel memory platform and trip planner built around an interactive 3D globe — your entire travel life in one place.
Last reviewed: 2026-07-18
Galmund is a dual-purpose platform for people who travel — and plan to travel more.
At its center is an interactive 3D globe that becomes a living map of your travel life: countries you've visited, memories pinned to the exact places where they happened, and trips you're planning next.
Two things in one
Memory keeper — Upload photos and videos from your travels. Galmund reads the GPS from your files and automatically places each memory on the globe. No manual tagging. Over time, the globe fills up with everything you've experienced.
Trip planner — When you're ready for the next adventure, open the Trip Planner. Add destinations, build a day-by-day schedule, track flights and accommodation, set a budget, and organize everything — all while seeing it on the map.

Who is Galmund for?
Galmund is built for people who care about where they've been and where they're going — and want both in the same place instead of scattered across different apps.
What makes it different?
Most travel apps are either memory apps (Google Photos, Instagram) or planning apps (TripIt, Wanderlog). Galmund is the only platform that does both, on the same globe, in the same session.
💡 You can start with just your memories, just a trip plan, or both at once. There's no required order — the platform adapts to how you travel.

Frequently asked questions
Is Galmund free to use?
Yes. Galmund has a free plan that covers all core features — uploading memories, navigating the globe, and planning trips. A paid plan unlocks higher storage limits and advanced features.
Do I need to be a frequent traveler to use Galmund?
Not at all. Even if you've only visited a few places, Galmund helps you preserve those memories and plan your next adventure. The globe grows with you over time.
What file formats does Galmund support?
Galmund supports photos (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP) and videos (MP4, MOV, WebM). GPS data is read automatically from the file metadata when available.
Can I use Galmund on mobile?
Galmund is a web app that works on any modern browser, including mobile — memories, the globe, and trip planning all work on a phone. It's a lighter experience than Desktop, though: when logged in on mobile you'll see a banner suggesting you switch, with a one-tap option to email yourself an access link. A native app is on the roadmap.
