Your trip page: itinerary and memories together
Open a trip detected from your memories and see its itinerary and photos side by side, in one screen. Build an itinerary from your memories if you don't have one yet.

When Galmund groups your memories into a trip (see the article on the country gallery), clicking it opens a single screen with the itinerary and the memories side by side.
Opening the trip page
In a country's album, click any trip in the Trips section to open this screen.
At the top, a few quick numbers: the trip's days, cities, and countries. Click the camera icon to pick a different memory as the cover.
The itinerary side
If the trip already has an itinerary (created via the trip-creation wizard, or built from memories, see below), this half shows a preview with an Open itinerary button that takes you straight to the Trip Planner.
If there's no itinerary yet, a prompt shows up instead: click Build itinerary and Galmund suggests a starting itinerary from the dates and locations of your own memories. No need to describe anything to an AI. Adjust it afterward the same way you would any other itinerary.
The memories side
Shows a preview of that trip's photos and videos, with a total count. Click any of them to open it in the memory viewer. With no memories yet, an Add photos and videos button invites you to upload photos from that trip.
Reliving the trip on the globe
The See on globe button opens the replay, reliving the trip stop by stop, right on the globe. See the article on recapping and reliving a trip for how that works.
Frequently asked questions
Does every trip detected from memories become a "real" trip, with an itinerary?
Not necessarily. A trip detected from memories is just an automatic photo grouping: it only gets a real itinerary (with stops, days, transportation) if you build one, either from scratch or from the memories themselves.
How do I build an itinerary from an already-detected trip?
Open the trip from the country's album and click "Build itinerary". Galmund uses your memories' dates and locations to suggest a starting itinerary, no AI needed. You adjust it from there like any other itinerary.
What shows up if the trip doesn't have memories yet?
A prompt to add media from that trip, in place of the photo preview.
Can I choose the trip's cover photo?
Yes, right on the trip page: pick from your own memories of that trip.
What's the difference between opening the itinerary from here versus the Trip Planner?
No practical difference: "Open itinerary" on this screen takes you to the same Trip Planner as always. The trip page is just an entry point that already shows the memories alongside, without you having to go find them elsewhere.
