Cookie Notice

The cookies and similar technologies Galmund uses today, including what we share with Meta to measure our ads.

Last reviewed: 2026-09-05

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies Galmund uses today, including how we measure how well our own ads are working.

What we use today

Login session. An essential cookie that keeps you signed in as you browse the platform, lasting for the length of your session.

Traffic source. We store, locally in your browser, where you came from before reaching Galmund (like a campaign or channel), so we can understand what's working. That information is only linked to your profile if you complete sign-up, and it's cleared from local storage once that happens.

Theme preference. Remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode, until you change it again.

Essential cookies

The login session cookie is required for the platform to work and can't be turned off without preventing you from using your account.

Marketing data

Traffic source data is used to measure how well our marketing campaigns are working. When you complete sign-up or subscribe to a paid plan, we also send Meta (Facebook) a cryptographic hash of your email, your IP address, browser information, and the ad click identifier (when you reached Galmund through a Facebook or Instagram ad) — this helps us measure whether our own ads are working. We never send your name, your email in readable form, or any content from your account, and we never sell this information.

Third-party cookies

Galmund doesn't load any third-party advertising script or cookie in your browser — the sharing with Meta described above happens directly from our servers, never from your browser. If we ever start loading third-party cookies or scripts there, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent before turning any of them on.

Managing cookies

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Turning off the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in. You can also clear your browser's local storage to remove the marketing attribution data.
